Dan has been a member of the firm since 2016, and his practice has been predominantly oriented around civil litigation in the fields of eminent domain, insurance coverage law, governmental liability, premises liability, and restaurant & retail defense. He is licensed to practice in the States of Missouri and Illinois, including the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. During his studies at the University of Missouri School of Law, Dan was an editor for the Missouri Law Review and was published in the Fall of 2015 for his piece titled The Wild Mid-West: Missouri Ethics and Campaign Finance Under a Narrowed Corruption Regime, 80 Mo. L. Rev. 1209 (2015), a publication which received the Guy A. Thompson award for Best Student Note. He was also a cornerstone member of the law school’s Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, launched in the fall of 2015, during which time he worked with local Columbia, Missouri entrepreneurs to establish and facilitate the growth of early stage start-up ventures.

Before joining RSSC, Mr. Schnurbusch completed an internship with the Honorable Judge E. Richard Webber in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Molly, and with friends and family.
