Michael Hobin is a partner in the firm. Michael has tried over twenty civil jury trials to verdict in the Illinois counties of Madison, St. Clair, Jersey, Randolph, Marion and Fayette, in addition to a civil rights action in federal court. Michael has successfully argued before the 5th District Appellate Court of Illinois. He has also been retained by local attorneys to mediate cases.
Michael was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2000 and admitted to practice generally before the United States District Court of Illinois in 2001. He spent the first 18 years of his legal career as a litigator with a defense firm in Edwardsville, IL. He was named a Leading Lawyer in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as recommended by his peers.
Michael attended Bradley University where he played NCAA Division I soccer. He then earned a master’s degree in history from Illinois State University. After next teaching government, history and sociology at a Catholic college preparatory school, Michael headed to law school at Southern Illinois University, graduating in 2000.
Today, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters most of all.
