Stephen Barber joined the firm in March 2016. Mr. Barber attended high school and college in Connecticut, graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1990 with a bachelor of arts in English. Mr. Barber graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1993 and has lived in St. Louis ever since. Mr. Barber clerked for the Honorable Gary M. Gaertner, Sr. of the Eastern Division of the Missouri Court of Appeals in the mid-90’s, and then went into private practice. Over the past twenty years, Mr. Barber has worked for several firms in various areas of the law, including insurance defense, personal injury litigation, collections, workers compensation and appellate practice. Mr. Barber has tried and argued cases at the trial level in both state and federal court and has briefed and argued appeals in the Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of the Missouri Court of Appeals as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Mr. Barber is licensed in the states of Missouri, Illinois and Connecticut.
